bapod does not ask for an account, email address, or payment details. Birthday lookups use the date you enter to create a result URL, such as a birthday page or family collage link. If you add names in Family Mode, those names can also appear in the shareable URL.

Because those URLs load through your browser, they may appear in browser history, shared links, hosting logs, analytics reports, or referrer data handled by service providers. Do not enter names or dates you would not want included in a link.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use minimal browser storage:

• Cookie consent preference — stored in localStorage to remember your choice.
• Analytics cookies — if enabled, we may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns like page views and popular flows. These cookies are set by Google and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Advertising

bapod may display manually placed ads via Google AdSense on result pages. We only load ad scripts after you accept the cookie prompt. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.

Before serving Google ads in regions that require a certified consent flow, bapod should use the provider-required consent tooling for that region.

Third-Party Services

• NASA APOD archive— Astronomy images and explanations are sourced from NASA's public Astronomy Picture of the Day archive. Some images may be credited to third-party copyright holders.
• Vercel Web Analytics — Aggregate usage tracking may run when the app is hosted on Vercel.
• Google Analytics — Optional aggregate usage tracking if configured and accepted.
• Google AdSense — Ad delivery (if enabled).
• Affiliate programs or sponsors — Optional outbound links may use tracking or affiliate parameters when clearly disclosed.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, there is nothing to delete or export. You can clear your browser's cookies and local storage at any time to remove all bapod-related data from your device.

Children's Privacy

bapod is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).
